For each engagement session, I try to help clients think of meaningful places, things, and activities to incorporate into their engagement sessions.  I feel engagement sessions are not just a chance to have fun portraits before the wedding but also a way to tell a story of who you are as a couple in that phase of your life.  I want clients to look back at in 30 years and say to yourself “remember when….”.  I was excited when Pan wrote me back with a list of places they wanted to visit that were all very meaningful to them and marked milestones in their relationship.  Hopefully in 30 years they can look at these photos and be flooded with memories.  Pan and Richard decided to go to Northwestern University, where they first met and got engaged, for their engagement photos.  We visited several different spots that held a lot of meaning for the two.  Can’t wait to revisit Evanston with you both in October for your wedding!
