Chicago Newborn Photographer

You may remember the maternity session I did with Jessica and Rey back in September.  Well….the baby finally arrived at the beginning of November and she could not be more adorable.

I absolutely love working with Jessica, Rey, and Maya!  They are all so full of  love and laughter….and they are all just hands down the cutest family ever!  When I originally met this couple, they were about 7 months pregnant and still figuring a lot of things out.  Since then, baby Maya has arrived and she is so full of personality. Its hard to believe that at only 7 days old a baby already has so much personality.  I work with newborns here and there and typically if we can get them warm and fill their tummies they fall right asleep but little Maya was so curious of what was going on, it took a little extra effort.  But once we got this little cutie to give up, she was the best model ever!

My favorite part of the session was the outfit Jessica had for Maya to wear.  Back when Jessica was in High School she worked at Osh Kosh and had purchased this outfit.  And several years later, little Maya was able to wear it for her newborn pictures.  I typically don’t encourage outfits for newborn sessions but this one was definitely a good choice!
